00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:02.933
Hi, Welcome to XMPie.

00:00:02.933 --> 00:00:10.766
In this video series, I will demonstrate and explain a major new feature for uStore that we call Campaigns-On-Demand,

00:00:10.766 --> 00:00:17.799
which brings multi-channel, multi-touchpoint marketing campaigns into the world of web to print.

00:00:17.800 --> 00:00:24.900
With Campaigns-On-Demand, it is now possible for a marketing team to create templates of complete campaigns,

00:00:24.900 --> 00:00:29.666
with multiple touchpoints and rule-triggered workflows.

00:00:29.666 --> 00:00:38.532
These campaign templates can then be selected, customized, personalized and launched through a web to print storefront.

00:00:38.533 --> 00:00:44.599
The Campaigns-on-Demand feature works well for a cross media campaign that is frequently repeated.

00:00:44.600 --> 00:00:53.533
For example, a store opening campaign for a franchise coffee shop. Each new campaign uses similar branding and workflows,

00:00:53.533 --> 00:01:00.766
but the store location, manager’s name and opening date change for each instance of the campaign.

00:01:00.766 --> 00:01:07.799
But for this training, I wanted to create something more generic, that shows how you could create a cross media campaign -

00:01:07.800 --> 00:01:17.200
in this case a wedding invitation campaign - and allow the buyer to also customize the design of their instance of the campaign.

00:01:17.200 --> 00:01:22.000
In this training store, I have the product setup.

00:01:22.000 --> 00:01:29.266
When I select the product, you can see a description, and the preview area will load the Circle project diagram.

00:01:29.266 --> 00:01:37.632
The loading will take a moment while the system copies the project, campaign, reports and all the necessary resources.

00:01:37.633 --> 00:01:48.866
When the preview loads, the end user can click any of the touchpoints to view a sample of that print, web or email document.

00:01:48.866 --> 00:02:09.432

00:02:09.433 --> 00:02:20.133
On the next page, we are in the familiar uStore customization step where the customer can provide more information about their event.

00:02:20.133 --> 00:02:29.899

00:02:29.900 --> 00:02:40.300
Now, if we use the touchpoints to preview the print piece, you can see the customization settings are updating the design.

00:02:40.300 --> 00:02:55.133

00:02:55.133 --> 00:03:01.499
Of course the same on the web and email touchpoints too.

00:03:01.500 --> 00:03:12.533

00:03:12.533 --> 00:03:19.333
The recipient list step allows the customer to select from a previously uploaded list, create a new list

00:03:19.333 --> 00:03:23.599
or to upload a new list, which is the option I will use.

00:03:23.600 --> 00:03:32.600
There is also a new "predefined recipient list" option that allows the buyer to select relevant recipients from a predefined recipient list.

00:03:32.600 --> 00:03:40.533
For example, a large corporate database could be filtered to present the customer with only clients from his or her region.

00:03:40.533 --> 00:03:46.799
This new type of recipient list will be demonstrated in a later video in this series.

00:03:46.800 --> 00:03:57.233
The recipient list page allows customers to edit, delete or preview the campaign for any recipient in the list.

00:03:57.233 --> 00:04:06.866

00:04:06.866 --> 00:04:13.899
Now that the list is available, the preview will show both customization values from the customization step

00:04:13.900 --> 00:04:18.666
and personal values for which ever recipient you preview.

00:04:18.666 --> 00:04:25.566
We can see the design selection, bride and groom names and wedding date from the customization,

00:04:25.566 --> 00:04:30.399
and the recipient details from the personalization.

00:04:30.400 --> 00:04:33.566

00:04:33.566 --> 00:04:44.199
And of course we can view different recipients to see that the personalization details are in fact changing as expected.

00:04:44.200 --> 00:04:58.833

00:04:58.833 --> 00:05:04.199
On the finalize step, you can have product properties like any other uStore product.

00:05:04.200 --> 00:05:08.433
There is one mandatory property for a Cross Media product

00:05:08.433 --> 00:05:16.399
and that is the Custom URL which is a identifier for this instance of the campaign.

00:05:16.400 --> 00:05:23.900
As you will know, for any XMPie personalized website, there is a recipient identifier in the URL.

00:05:23.900 --> 00:05:30.633
For the Campaigns-On-Demand, there is also an instance ID which looks like this.

00:05:30.633 --> 00:05:35.199
The system will not permit characters that are forbidden in the URL,

00:05:35.200 --> 00:05:40.533
and if the instance id has already been used, it will warn the user to change it.

00:05:40.533 --> 00:05:51.233
Also, as the store administrator you can choose to hide this and have it automatically generated by uStore or prepopulated from a database.

00:05:51.233 --> 00:05:55.666
The wedding date is selected again as a product property.

00:05:55.666 --> 00:06:00.132
The property is used in Circle for triggering scheduling and automation,

00:06:00.133 --> 00:06:06.766
while the customization value is used to set the ADOR objects in the document design.

00:06:06.766 --> 00:06:13.632
 In a future version, we hope to unify this selection so it only needs to be made once.

00:06:13.633 --> 00:06:24.133
Now the item is in the cart, we could add more products, or checkout in the usual way.

00:06:24.133 --> 00:06:31.066
One of the values of a cross media campaign is the ability to track the user's response and behavior.

00:06:31.066 --> 00:06:35.566
Naturally, campaigns created with XMPie are able to do this,

00:06:35.566 --> 00:06:43.232
and the Campaigns-On-Demand feature allows the customer to view the campaign analytics here in the order history.

00:06:43.233 --> 00:06:48.033
This is an order I placed earlier and have simulated some activity.

00:06:48.033 --> 00:06:55.099
When I click on the analytics link, I see the same campaign diagram, but this time when I click the touchpoint,

00:06:55.100 --> 00:07:00.900
I see the Marketing Console analytics that were bound to that touchpoint in Circle.

00:07:00.900 --> 00:07:08.933
The data is live, within a few minutes, so the customer can use this to monitor his or her campaign's progress.

00:07:08.933 --> 00:07:17.966
On the cross media item, you can also permit the customer to download the recipient list with any updated or newly captured data.

00:07:17.966 --> 00:07:27.899
XMPie believes that a well-executed campaign should be a dialog with the customer. That you're not just talking to the customer, but also listening.

00:07:27.900 --> 00:07:35.500
Therefore, your campaign can allow customers to update existing data – like a change to their contact details;

00:07:35.500 --> 00:07:43.266
or add new information – like learning their preference. In this example, whether they will attend the event.

00:07:43.266 --> 00:07:49.832
And even add new recipients into the campaign via a refer-a-friend form.

00:07:49.833 --> 00:07:56.866
In the following videos we look at: How to set up a Circle project to recreate this sample campaign.

00:07:56.866 --> 00:08:01.699
How to set up the store and cross media product to replicate what we just saw.

00:08:01.700 --> 00:08:04.300
Managing cross media product orders

00:08:04.300 --> 00:08:10.733
We will also take a closer look at the powerful new predefined recipient list control.
