uProduce Hot Folders
This module is an overview of the uProduce Hot Folder mechanism which was introduced in PersonalEffect versions 12.4 and 13. The Hot Folder feature is an optional extra that allows you to trigger document production, or perform other tasks, by simply dropping a file into a hot folder.

Using OpenType SVG Fonts
XMPie's choice to use Adobe InDesign as the basis for its VDP engine means that customers can take advantange of InDesign's support of OpenType SVG fonts to create basic image-font effects that don't need the toolset of Adobe Photoshop and uImage to blend the personalization into the background image.
